How We Came to Be Delicious Bagels

We are the Pontecorvo family, Florence's sons, Tony and Wade. We started our bagel career as employees of the Hot Bagel Bakery on Monmouth Road in Oakhurst in 1978.


In 1987, we opened our first bagel place as Bagelicious on 2259 Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant, NJ with a heavy accent on wholesale.


In 1997, we changed the name to Delicious Bagels in order to separate ourselves from the like named competition. We have slowly developed into a bagel, deli and grill establishment with an extensive breakfast and lunch menu.
